Meet the team

Sunny Nehru – Director and Founder

Sunny is the Director and Founder of Electrical Insight (Ei). After spending over a decade working across the electrical and data centre media sectors, he launched Ei with a simple goal – cutting through the corporate jargon to deliver real, genuinely useful content. From power generation and renewables to the latest industry trends, Ei focuses on delivering practical insights that people actually want to read. As publisher, Sunny leads the brand’s digital and print direction, but his main aim is to make Ei a trusted platform that informs, connects, and is enjoyable to read.

James Bourne – Editor

James Bourne is editor of Electrical Insight. He has 12+ years’ experience in writing across myriad B2B technologies, and has previously held Editor in Chief roles at TechForge Media and Packt Publishing. Between 2022 and 2024, James was Editor at Large at Suscom Media. James has received various citations for his editorship at TechForge, including from Onalytica, Zsah and Feedspot, and was named as one of the UK’s top 20 technology influencers by European PR company Tyto in 2019.

Mohammed Kurdi – Head of Content

Mohammed Kurdi is the Head of Content for Ei, bringing over a decade of experience across AI, B2B publishing, and the humanities. With a background spanning higher education, charity, and B2B media, Mohammed has built a career at the intersection of content strategy, communications, and operations.

Precious Lawrence – Social Media and Marketing Manager

Precious Lawrence is the Social Media and Marketing Manager for Ei. She has more than 9 years of experience growing brands across the B2B, B2C and D2C sectors through content strategy, social media and community building. Precious believes the best content makes complex ideas simple, brands more human and audiences feel part of the conversation. When she’s not publishing posts or planning campaigns, she’s probably keeping up with trends, responding to comments, tracking analytics and definitely not refreshing the dashboard every five minutes.

Abrar Inamdar – Web Developer & Technical Support

Abrar Inamdar is the Web Developer & Technical Support at Ei. He manages website development, maintenance, and performance optimisation while providing technical support across the company’s digital platforms. His focus is on creating fast, reliable, and user-friendly web experiences that support brands growth.
